I was lucky to purchase not one but two of these scarce stamps from the same dealer at less than 28% of Scott's value. Christopher West stated in his book he was only aware of six known. I'm sure more have been discovered since his publication. Sorry, I couldn't get the scanner adjusted to get better pictures.

These do look promising, but really the only way to truly know about an ultramarine m&m is to look at it in person in sunlight.

to my eyes the first is a pale blue from a worn plate. the second has an outside shot but daylight or a comparison to a known ultramarine is needed.

Sorry, I couldn't get better pictures of these ultramarine stamps. I have tried to get better scans before on other ultramarine Match Stamps but I ran into the same problems as these. If someone knows a special technique for this shade please let me know.
