Now that is super-sized. I saw an advert for the upcoming multiple sales in the latest American Philatelist. The gentleman's name is Leo Malz.

425 Broadway in NYC. Turns out he loved space stamps and covers and wrote a popular book on same. Kelleher will be auctioning off all of that. Also 100 albums of Israel. Who knows what else. I would be interested in those ever sexy "dealer backroom material that was put aside for another time".

"100 albums of Israel"
Yikes. The market for Israel was already weak.

I wonder when he was a new issues dealer for Iraq. Had to be during Saddam since their has been no legit postal service in Iraq since his untimely demise and that was quite some time ago now.

Israel has about 20 stamps with tabs that have real value. The rest is essentially just pretty wallpaper at this point. Pretty to collect and look at, but available in every department store.

I would think Kelleher would speed up the sale of those 300 cartons and 40 file cabinets to catch the buying surge cause by Covid . I am sure they know about the aggressive sales that Rasdale had this past month .

They don't want to follow behind the November collection sale that Rasdale plans to have and run into the Holiday season and bad weather situation . Maybe break it down to a lot of bulk now and hold half the better lots until 2021.

It would be interesting how they market this massive inventory .

Or my variant on revcollector's post ...

Drapes are hung, people are hanged. Either way it's curtains!
