That is not a double print. Your stamp was printed and put on a stack of still wet sheets so that the image was "printed" on the back in reverse. A double print occurs when the sheet is mistakenly put through the printing process twice
Just to add a bit more, what you have there is called a set-off. Often, you will see it called an off-set, although off-set technically has a different meaning. If there is an image shown on the reverse of the stamp, what you want to watch for is for that image to look "normal" and NOT be reversed. That can be worth $!
Thank you for your very thorough answer. I wanted to ask if the stamp can be identified as a decal so called in Italy. Do these kinds of stamps have market values?
