Questions About Russia

I have a couple questions
So I open a envelope marked Tripolitania
And found a mix of stamps

The Russian stamps caught my eye
So I checked for the inverted center/backgrounds
No luck
Then moved on to the vertical/horizontal paper
(I'll get to that)
Right now I'm curious about colour variations
My old books don't get into details


Looking between 1883-1912
I have these listed as 2 green/dark Green or yellow green
And the 3 listed as either Carmine/rose red
I do try to put in the work to find things
Just maybe don't know what to search
So I gotta ask my first question
What am I missing? Forgery's,errors Or just again
Lack of understanding or resources

Didn't think to look further back
In the regent word stamp album
I assume they came out of
only listed 1889-1917


And I tried to match it up to the catalogue
By using the crown and scroll appearance
I thought I read somewhere that it helps identify
But it makes more sense being 1865-75 sg#13 or 20 for the 3
(Haven't checked for the watermark yet)
And a 1875-79 sg#26 on horizontally laid
they are both 14 1/2 x 15 Perf

Or am I off on the 14 1/2 x 15
And does it matter?

Posted the wrong set of photos first
(Those are my double check)
I did check on two Different gauges
I still could be off

Here's the 3 on the other gauge (two is the same)
I took a wider picture cause the 14 1/2 and the 15 label
Get covered when I put the stamp over
Am I doing something wrong?
(Aside from the multiple posts... sorry)
I didn't feel the first sets where Good enough
showing the difference And had to show with another gauge

What do you look for to identify a 20 kon with inverted groundwork?

The original mix looks very similar to some mixed glassines I've been working through. The only advice I can give is to never trust what's written/marked on the envelope. Even possibly when it's your own writing from years before.

I'd suggest using the Stamp World website as a resource in identifying rough year of issue. The wealth of images has been very helpful to me in my own efforts at organizing my collection. Doesn't replace a worldwide catalog like Scott, but can definitely be a valuable adjunct to it.

I think in the inverted background the very small numerals in the pink or green part of the stamp would be upside down. Also the same for the 5 kopek, where the "V" would be upside down. Yours are not.

Search turned up this , among others, Wildwood is very close.

I came a cross a 2005a us 100$ Bill with a print on
The back
It's probably fake
I'm pretty sure it's Belarusian
