Moving Stamp Smarter Website

Thank you Don, I go there often, particularly when there are W/F's on the stamp desk

I feel your pain Don, We just have to move/convert the database here and I'm not looking forward to that.

The move/migration is now complete. I have made a few updates including reorganizing the old 'members' section. The links which previously in the 'Members' section were all 'advanced views' of the Community Projects. This section no longer requires a membership and is available to all users from the Feature page http://stampsmarter.org/features/Ho...eatures.html It has been enhanced/improved and the pages have gotten a bit of a redesign.

A new Community Project page is available to folks who have been actively adding/editing data in the Community Project; the log in is here http://www.stampsmarter.org/Connect...ersHome.html If you are an active editor/contributor to a Community project and cannot log in, please let me know.

I will also be adding HTTPS to the site over the next week but this should also be transparent to everyone.

The site is now accessible on either the stampsmarter.COM address or the stampsmarter.ORG address; this means that if anyone has older links (like in this forum) or bookmarks they will still work just fine. .

Thanks so much Don for all you do to keep Stamp Smarter going. The PSE Certification Search feature seems to be working much, much faster, and I look forward to your demo for all users. I sending you another contribution and urge others to do so, too.

Kudos Don. In your "spare" time could you help the PF keep their certificate search working?

Btw couldn't help but notice, although the site doesn't have auth/encryption needs you can get free certs via "let's encrypt" and automate renewals with something like certbot.

This will probably eliminate people's sensitivity to browser based warnings and errors.

Don, love the new larger thumbnails in the PSE Cert Database application! Thanks for that as well as for all the other great parts of Stampsmarter!

Echoing everyone else's thoughts. Thanks for your efforts. It never ceases to amaze me how much of our hobby we share freely and the effort we are willing to undertake simply to help advance the hobby.
