The current issue of Topical Time arrived today with an interesting article on "The Philately of Historians." Is there a checklist that lists historians on stamps? I tried the ATA list of topical checklists but did not find this particular category.
There is an online stamp catalogue (not to be mentioned here) that has a list of 480 stamps showing historians. Russia/USSR and France have the highest numbers of contributions.
