How & Where Do I Look Up Plate Numbers For The 1954 Liberty Series?

Hi, I've heard about plating before but that's one part of philately that I have never experienced yet. However, the Liberty Series really interests me and I'd like to specialize a bit more on them.

Where do I go about looking up plate numbers?

Another way would be to find an older copy of Durland. The US Stamp Society has just released the 2020 edition and soon there should be copies of the 2016 edition available at a reduced price. This way you would have all of the plate numbers in one place when you are not online.

You can also find plate numbers in the Hebert's Reference Guide to Plate Number Singles.

You might like "The Liberty Series" by Ken Lawrence, C. David Eeles, and Anthony S. Wawrukiewicz.
A comprehensive guide to the U.S. 1954 set of definitive stamps.

262 pages of detail and background information surrounding the series.
