I inherited the stamp shown in thie attached picture but am at a loss in trying to figure out what country it is from since it does not have any writing on it that I can understand.
Does anyone have an idea as to where it is from? Any information will be greatly appreciated.'"
Thank you for posting this site. It is a great reference for revenue stamps with their pictures from many countries. Does anyone know of similar sites that would have additional countries?
I tried that, but after downloading Forbin I can't open either A or B. The message is that the download is corrupt. Is it my computer or others having the same problem?
I was getting only a 35mb download. Switched wifi extenders and the whole 66mb downloaded for each of A and B which then opened just fine. It is a very helpful catalog but would also like to find a source for revenue stamps newer than 1915.
Quote: find a source for revenue stamps newer than 1915.
The link Geoff offered (Revenue Reverend) is the only other one of note, in my experience. After that, it's time to spend some shekels, look at "Barefoot" Google for country of choice.
