I'm working on a presentation for the Chittenden County (VT) stamp club of the US Breast Cancer Awareness Semi-Postal (B1 & B5). There have been 12 different postage rates since B1 (B5) was issued. When the non-denominated semi-postal was first issued it cost 40c (with the 32c + 8c surcharge), when the postage rate rate was changed to 33c the cost remained the same. The semi surchage was then 7c. Today the cost of the stamp (B5) is 65c (55c + 10c). When B5 was issued the price was 60c (49c + 11c).

I have searched various online sources to find what the actual price of the stamps were during each rate period, but haven't found anything that definitely tells me. I've tried searching through the various Postal Bulletins but no such luck either. Can anyone point me to such information?

BTW, the reason I have chosen to do this presentation is purely philatelic: in 1988 there were a number of other countries which also issued same design stamps including: Austria, Belize, Grenada, Gambia, Hungary, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Macedonia, Micronesia, and Slovakia.

I think this would be of interest to most of our club members since it combines US stamps with stamp from other countries as well as having examples used from the US and other countries.
