I have realized after several years that I never introduced myself. I was introduced to collecting when I was about six years old. My grandmother would save the baseball cards on the bottom of Hostess snack boxes and give them to me. Eventually, I started getting the grab bags of stamps from Harris and started collecting stamps. I found a stamp with a socked on the nose postmark with my exact birthdate and have been fascinated with postmarks ever since. I've always been more of an accumulator but I'm trying to become more of a collector. Right now, I'm focused on collecting stamps from Belgium and learning about everything I see posted here on Stamp Community.

Kelump,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
