Hello! I am new to the stamp forum and you could say that I inherited some stamps from my uncle. I Have been looking at this 80 Heller stamp and I am thinking it is a forgery because the original (1920) should have no preforations but mine has them.

Hi Joe, Austrian stamps of this ilk are sometimes "privately perforated" (Reasonably common)

Ah oke so I am assuming that has a good chance of being genuine?

Hi and welcome to the forum, that stamp was issued both ways, imperf and perfed. Scott# J83 perf and #J101 imperf. |
