Hello
Is this stamp hand mutilated, or is the bottom really unperforated? Comparing it to regular stamp size, it might be real and not hand cut. On the other hand, judging from the top side perforation, Maybe a machine cut it unevenly.

I read somewhere that this stamp "Also exists in 1933 in grilled paper: Zumstein 184z, Michel 204z, Yvert et Tellier 243a".
Can that be the answer?

The guillotined perforations at the top are typical for sheets or reels that are cut into panes or strips. I doubt it is imperforate at bottom, just badly centred when the source was cut into strips. This would be typical for booklet and coil stamps, probably the latter.

Grilled paper on Swiss stamps of this time period is usually readily apparent by looking at the back of the stamp

Thank you all. From all that you wrote I assume that it was done by a post office worker, rather than a dealer wanting to fake an unperforated stamp, so, in a way, it is an unintended yet legit postage stamp.
