New To The Site, 3+ Years Into The Hobby So Far

Hello! Name's Lane. Started collecting stamps three years ago, ever since I bought a worldwide blister pack. Been hooked ever since.

With the pandemic coming close to it's one year anniversary, I gotta admit, definitely had more of a focus on Philately.

Only thing I miss is the stamp shows, definitely planning on hitting those once this blows over.

Gotta ask. How did you all get into the hobby? Was it a certain stamp? or was it like mine? A blister pack?

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. Welcome to the site Lane. I left stamp collecting as a child because I was frustrated about getting order into my collection. I always admired my Dads collection and when he got older he started spending large sums on stamps at an open air market stall. I was sent by my Brother to check this out. I said to my Dad that I might one day start collecting stamps. Next thing I was walking away from the Market stall with two old Windsor GB albums containing the start of a collection. My Dad bought the albums as my combined Christmas and Birthday Present.
