Thank you so much for the additional scans. I am going to stand corrected on this one and come over to John's way of thinking. I believe that I see the indentation continue onto the envelope?

Yes I would have to agree. Odd that a line would start just past the stamp and run through the length and then stop and not go into the adjoining stamp. but yes damage done post production.
