And what do you think that means ? Am I more interested in the stamp ? And how to check the grill ? I looked at different lights and angles, there is no grill . |

You can see the grill pattern in the soiling of the stamp. Grills can be very faint but are also pressed out which I suspect is the case with your stamp. There is also a lightened area underneath George's eyes where something appears to have been removed or cleaned. |

The six cent is grilled. It's faint, but it is there. The 30 cent shows a possible sign of a grill in the area of the numeral 3, but it is difficult to tell from a straight on image in this case. It should be placed in watermark fluid and looked at at an angle for shadows from a grill. |

Are the postage stamps real ? Opinion is not very important to eat the grill or not . Tell me what kind of liquid that would find out if the grill ? |

Don't show the stamp straight on or in a clear mount. Take the stamp out of the mount and take a pictures of the back of stamp at an angle so the grill impressions will show a shadow. |

I believe the original poster is from Russia. RONSONOL is a Trade name for the refill fluid that goes into a cigarette lighter. SLAVABL, look for something similar. Test it first on some cheap stamps. The fluid should evaporate quickly and leave no residue. If it does not leave a residue it should be safe for US stamps. You can also the fluid to see watermarks on stamps.
