Timmm, I think you missed a few synonyms there... Epic post!

Mike33; great photos of beautiful birds!

Do I get bored? Never. Think most people have agreed that we all sometimes take a break and need to, but it is not due to boredom. Frustrated at times, yep; especially when you've been looking for certain things for years and have never even seen them other than in a catalog. I have found that I'm actually more engaged since starting WW a couple of years ago. While I'll continue to look back at my US collection and keep filling in holes now and then; adding quite a few foreign countries has made the hobby much more enjoyable. Personally, I get just as much enjoyment out of mounting a common Egyptian or Japanese stamp as adding a US 356 to my US album; and without all the cert games that seem to be pervasive in the higher-end US market which covers pretty much the missing US stamps I'm looking for. I've also made a habit of getting a book on the histories of all the countries I now collect; feel that it adds a lot more "feeling" to many of the stamps you see, even if some of those histories are not so pleasant. Adding context to many of the stamps or people/subjects you see on them makes the hobby less "boring" so to speak, personally speaking.
