Chances are if you returned something to Apfelbaum in the past, they have blocked your account. I would show them the cert and demand a refund. Frankly, I doubt they have the skills to identify a reperfed stamp, or if they even care to find out. They play the putt that's in front of them, with the most expensive Scott ID possible. This stamp may have had a bad cert in the past so it's possible they tossed the cert and used it for the basis of the scam identification. Might be possible to track it down.
