I don't expect to secure a "Special Print" of the above in my price range, (perf 11 with Guide line) Can members suggest what the faint line RHS of this block is please? I cannot place it, in the scheme of things(Having not seen a sheet) Thanks.  |

It is the guideline down the center of the full sheet of 200. There were also arrows at either end. |

733 vs 753 These two are perhaps the most confusing among the special printings. Some singles and multiples cannot be proven as to a definite #, gum soaked off of 733, etc. The idiot-proof way to have Scott 753 is to have a multiple straddling the guide line, which can only have come from the special printing sold in full press sheets of 200:  Rod, Message me an address and I'll send you this pair for free. |

As stated earlier, your block of stamps has parts of the position line in its right margin. Here is a page from the album I made for the Farley Follies. DL just the pdf and print the pages you want. If you have or want to DL the free AlbumEasy software so you can make any changes you want, DL the .txt file. This page holds the top and bottom position arrow line blocks of four. A different page holds the left and right PALBs.  |

Your album pages contain spaces for singles of the Peace and Byrd issues which are not verifiable types. Gum could be soaked off the regular stamps to simulate the Farley printings. The same is true of the Peace and Byrd plate blocks. I didn't look beyond those two issues. Just saying ... |

Are you saying that a Byrd single showing part or all of that guideline is not verifiable as 753? |

Correct, a Byrd single showing a guide line is NOT verifiable as a 753. It could be a single from the 733 sheet, which is also perforated along the guidelines in the press sheets, which was then separated into panes of 50 for retail sale. |

Correct. Yes, gutters prove beyond doubt they are Farleys. These all fall between 752-771, and 797 at the end.
Only took a month to get to Australia!
