Hi there! Can I please get some advice on what to do here as I'm looking to sell. I am very new to stamps and I'm not sure if I should attempt to sell this as a cover or remove it? (Highly doubt I should remove it.) I see the value is very strong on this and hoping you can validate that or educate me regardless! Thank you so much!

Ah thank you and looks like you have a birthday soon! Happy early birthday! How about value ? Is it true a cover such as this is better than an individual stamp? Thanks everyone.

Do not remove the stamp from a cover. That would be destroying postal history. The stamp,the cover,the cancellation,the date,the address,the person,the city,the state,markings on the reverse,the feel,the look,the,the,the.

Even though the stamps all look the same some are $3 and some are $7000. First you need to know what this stamp is or is not. It is not what you think it is. Hold the party.

Wouldn't want to lose the inverted date in the postmark for an average stamp.

I would be conservative and venture $3 based on ebay sales. But, someone with more expertise will need to chime in and tell us what to look for that would increase the value.

I see no evidence of a grill so stamp appears to be a Scott 65. Does have an interesting destination that you just don't see that often, Milford, Kosciusko County, Indiana.
Apparently only 1 post office in the town and has been in operation since 1837. All in all I agree with the valuation of a few $.
