Is there somewhere on the Internet a listing of the many city-town-village postmarks that were used on the Free City of Danzig stamps?
My thanks in advance for any help with this.

How about: https://www.danzig.org/en/wp-gallery/?cat_id=1299A great collection of parcel cards with cancels by town/city. The A.S.D.P. journal is on that site but there is no index. I think the Michel Germany Specialized catalog still has all towns listed, but that's not on the net. |

I've got the 2-volume catalog of Danzig cancels, so if there's something you can't ID, feel free to post a photo and I'll look it up. |

I believe the above is not a Danzig cancel. Reisholz is a district of Düsseldorf. It's hard to decipher, but it might read Düsseldorf at the bottom. Very nice!
There might be two different cancels here. I wonder if it got a weak or partial cancel from Danzig and was overcancelled on receipt in Reisholz.

Among the references the ArGe Danzig has put online at the link mentioned above are several references on cancels of Danzig. In several cases, the links only show excerpts for copyright reasons, but things like this table of contents are useful as a list of possible Danzig cancels.  |
