What a lovely article. I managed to see the original display in the Postal Museum. This is why postal history holds all the trump cards over stamps: there's the human element.

Yes, what touched me most is that the town I live in was mentioned. I wonder if the ancestors of the Wilsons are still living here? That's definitely something for our local history society to look into, when we are allowed back out.

Perhaps one day folks will uncover some of our hard drives, restore them, and publicly publish our personal emails, chats, tweets, images, and search history.
