Was browsing through the weekend sale at Michael Rogers and saw this lot, # 11160. What kind of twisted stamp collector or individual removes that stamp first.

one who thinks it will grade extra high.

If it were imperf, they would have felt the need to destroy 9 other stamps too.

Definitely an unusual place to take off a stamp. According to the description it's completely separated between the second and third column. A second glance at the photo confirms this, I think.

It could also be a plate flaw ,someone needed for a exhibit .
