Happy Friday Everyone, Does anyone know what the catalog number is for a Coast Rica - Guanacaste with "V" for second "A"? I see there is mention of it online and I don't know the catalog number or value. Thanks for looking! UPDATE: I just noticed the re-entry in "CENT"AVOS at bottom. Taken from "estampillascr[.]com blog for Guanacaste overprints PAGE 1: PAGE 2: Thanks

What evidence do you have that it's fake? |

apologies if your a expert on this (I'm clearly not) i have no evidence, I don't have the stamp using what you provided ill explain the best I can as to why IMO would put this under suspension But again I'm a novice and just try to help Now it could just be me or the way I looked at it I did my best to size them up These areas appear different (wide) Hope I didn't offend you |

hi souldjer777 keep doing your thing! hear me out and I could be completely wrong I'm new to all this and most here will tell you I don't know pi$$ from paint and I see something is off i can't imagine what someone with knowledge is thinking(but await a proper opinion ;) so I just give my prospective food for thought... not trying to hurt... I'm trying to help (i ask a lot more then I answer) perhaps better comparison pictures might help keep it up! hopefully somebody else will chime in with a more accurate description and say I'm wrong... that way we would both learn something |

Another genuine stamp layered with mine. These overprints are identical save for my own imperfect scaling / alignment and the obvious difference of the inverted V for A. |

Great photo work! I've been try to figure out how to do that, perhaps I may be in need of correction? I'll stay quiet until a pro has chimed in fingers crossed for you |

"The pro" has chimed in regarding Guanacaste. See the post above by Richard Frajola. |

It's being contested. Not only do the size and shape match... but I can see the identical ink gaps in my overprint letters and the example I took from estampillascr com. Identical ink gaps in overprint letters... Again, the scaling isn't perfect, but I'm not preparing a shuttle launch to Mars today. |

Seeing much better now! I like it, but I'm no pro (my fingers are crossed for you) When opinions come in (hopefully we break this down enough that a pro will give you certainty so you save sending it in costs if its not) could you try to match the bottom of the ANA up? I'm am gonna ask about the T just out of my own curiosity (One goes straight across One breaks and goes up the middle Probably just the way it is) Again I really truly hope it is genuine!!! (read your other post) trying to help

Perfected the overlay - took my time and was careful to align. I don't see anything that would ever make me 2nd guess this. I can't see where you are claiming it has differences. Ink will never be exactly the same. And my stamp has what I believe is called a double transfer at bottom. Break out the arrows and circles - explain what you see. Update on Mars shuttle launch: Went to Mars. Weather was bad. Food was garbage. Came back. Earth is it folks. Love her and keep her safe. |

CERTIFIED: Could anyone share the value of this stamp variety in 2021? I can't find a resource for it's value online. Very much appreciated!
American Philatelic Society Certificate: 236445 "Guanacaste, Scott 66 variety with inverted "V" for the second "A" in "GUANACASTE" used. Genuine. |
