Postal Cards - More Than Cancels And P.o. District.

Some times there is more than just a cancel and a post office associated with postal cards.
I decided to do some investigating on the name "William Ferguson Munro" that is on the back of this UX1 postal card.

He was a born Sept.30.1833 and did lawyer work in Toronto, Canada. He sent the card to R. MacAulay, who was the secretary of the "Sun Mutual Life Insurance Company" by William Ferguson Munro. It was about the "Insolvent Act of 1869" with reference to Bankruptcy, "Section 155".




Below are a few pictures of William Ferguson Munro {father of 12 children}. And the house he lived in until his death.




Boring, probably...But kinda neat.
