Hello all Stamp Masters,
Today I want to show a special lot of my Mint Thurn & Taxis, all of which have full gum, in forms of Blocks of 2, 4, 6, and 9.
Pictures below.
My Question is: Is there a Premium at all on the value of these, based on their condition? Is there a Premium for mint blocks such as these?
I heard that many Thurn and Taxis pieces are more valuable with certain cancellations than the mint ones.
What is your opinion of these pieces?
Note: These are not the reprints, as their backside lacks the "ND"...
Also: Note the #46 9kr piece. It is a block of 4, but two are cut at the middle, thus only leaving half of them. Is this actually cut at the middle? Is it an edge piece where 2 of the Stamps didnt fit on the Sheet? How does this impact the value?
Also: Note the #58 6kr Corner Block of 9, the top perforation line seems to be crooked above the first Column, then comes down above the second column. Is that just a production error that does not impact the value? Or does it reduce value?
