I like your snake milking stamp Rigel; there are three experts, but also three snakes.... Here is a 1947 France issue (Sc. 588 / Y&T 790) honoring the French Resistance depicting two German soldiers flanking a captive résistant.  |

This September 6, 1999 3.50 mk stamp (Facit #1485) of Finland depicts the Harmony Sisters. Stamp is from a booklet pane of 6 different designs featuring Finnish popular singers of the 1930s -50s.  |

"Europa 1982" issue from Monaco. This stamp depicts the conquest of the fortress of Monaco by the Grimaldi. According to this legend François Grimaldi (ancestor of the current prince) had only a small army but he seized the fortress by cunning : disguised as franciscan monks he and two companions entered the fortress without attracting suspicion.  |

the Monaco stamp depicts the French peasant gerl Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes. She became famous for the visions of the Virgin Mary. The stamp depicts the popes who served during Bernadette's life and a hundred years later  |

Hungary 1971 Soyuz 11 s/s This s/s shows the cosmonauts Vladislav Volkov, Georgy Dobrovolsky and Viktor Patsayev, that arrived at the space station on 7 June 1971 and departed on 29 June 1971. The mission ended in disaster when the crew capsule depressurised during preparations for reentry, killing his occupants. The three cosmonauts of Soyuz 11 are the first humans known to have died in space.  |
