i found a post from rein (2012)
next question:
where they used on postal stationary's, wrappers, postcards or envelopes?

12c (had a rough life)
recess print B.W?

This is the one I'm looking for, maybe a fake or wrapper?
Could be wrong....

The 12c does not appear to be recess/engraved. The frame is too uneven, the background lines are broken in many spots, the oak leaves do not have the fine lines within. The color as seen on my monitor looks to be the gray color left when the blue part of ultramarine has faded out.

You should be able to tell the difference between recess and letterpress yourself. Recess has ink clearly raised above the level of the paper.

The 1c is from the later 1884-85 issue and probably is a stationery cutout. The paper should then be different from stamps of the period, usually softer.

http://billsey.seymourfamily.com/A/...-page011.htm, click on the stamp images for a closer view. Fella, your 1 centavo is a cutout from postal stationery. It should be about the same thickness as a stamp since it's on envelope paper not card stock. If you look closely at the grains of the paper you may be able to tell it's diagonal.

That's what I thought postal stationary
But far as I can tell (why I asked for more info :)
Most of the printing that was used for that was produced by ABNCoA
On the 1c it has similarities with the one given here
https://goscf.com/t/17709&whichpage=7
I'm not against it being a cut out!
Just couldn't find the info I needed

Here's the back (ain't pretty)
Looks like a stamp from here.....I don't see any lines
Am I just not seeing it?(looking too close maybe)
And I know I'm a little off sometimes but I don't see any thinning on the surface of the front or back?

you are him
I've been reading your stuff for the last couple days!!
Thank you for blessing my thread with more of your pages
My understanding of your teaching may not be perfect
but I like your way of thinking lots of things get left out of good books!
Sometimes someone comes along and try's to answer the left out parts
(anthropologist or archeologists of stamps you are in my eyes)
