On October 6, 1964 the DDR issued a set of fifteen, 10 (pf) stamps to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its establishment. One of these stamps (Mi #1068A), shown here, depicts a surveyor with a theodolite.  |

Here is the 25c value (SG #147) from Malaysia's February 6, 1976 set of three stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Institute of Medical Research. Subject of the stamp is malaria diagnosis, and a binocular microscope is depicted.  |
