Here is Estonia's May 6, 2011 souvenir sheet (Sc #672) commemorating the bicentenary of the Struve Geodetic Arc. Theodolites are shown on the right side of the sheet, and a level and vertical ring are shown on the left.

On October 6, 1964 the DDR issued a set of fifteen, 10 (pf) stamps to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its establishment. One of these stamps (Mi #1068A), shown here, depicts a surveyor with a theodolite.

This 25 (pf) value (Mi #1475) of the DDR is from its May 28, 1969 set of two stamps commemorating the 2nd Women's Congress of the DDR. A stylized microscope is depicted.

Here is the 25c value (SG #147) from Malaysia's February 6, 1976 set of three stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Institute of Medical Research. Subject of the stamp is malaria diagnosis, and a binocular microscope is depicted.

On April 1, 1982 Norway issued a two-stamp set to commemorate its anti-tuberculosis campaign. The 3 krone value (Facit #898) of the set depicts a microscope.

Here is the .30 +.06 (mk) value (Facit #711) from Finland's October 25, 1972 Red Cross Blood Service set of 3 stamps. Stamp depicts research work on blood.

This 2008, .49 euros stamp of German private courier Suedpost, depicts Count Zeppelin posing with binoculars before a Zeppelin at Lake Constance. Suedmail is headquartered at Weingarten, Wuerttemberg.
