i was wondering, I am only on SAN and like their consensus/provenance feature do these have similar features?

www.stampcircuit.com
www.philasearch.com
www.philotax.de
www.delcampe.net

and if so, does that basically mean if you are on all of them you could find almost all the better material?

I would've thought provenance would've come via the auction house in the first instance?

From there SAN could create a database?

Dutch - I've not seen anyplace other than SAN where so much comprehensive census and so-called provenance data is available in such an easily searchable and reportable format. A strong runner up is Siegel's Power Search which obviously contains only their own sales data but has records for just about every major, and many more minor, US stamps and covers that have been sold.

Power Search, along with sites such as Stamp Smarter, both of which are free to access, are such valuable resources. Let's hope they stay that way by donating if we can in Stamp Smarter's case.
