according to Boggs, was a typical Jammu & Kashmir post office during the stamp-issuing period. No drug stores here!

Nr-notrare and Nuggethill, am I glad to see you two here

I was beginning to fear the only reader who hadn't yet died or been driven mad with boredom was that young rascal Spock. And of course, he was always a bit of a doubtful quantity anyway

Tony.....

I read just about everything posted on this club, but I don't always feel it necessary to comment. I was taught at the old school that one can learn more by paying attention when the subject is unfamilar and asking questions once the material has been presented.

Great info......please continue.

Little tony has sent the whole forum to sleep but he is the only one running about the forum when I am awake. Also we need to get him some glasses he thinks tagores poem is referencing his jammu kashmir post office.

we need to post some glamorous indian states to wake him up. I cant wait for the 6 new issues coming out this year. I am going to create 6 different threads and post poster like images so it can sink in for Tony :) we dont want to wait too long do we. I always believed in catching them young :)

Essex Stamp Auctions (www.essexstampauctions.com) have various Travancore sheets coming up for auction on the 27 June. Estimates look expensive, but then, any reserve on a Travancore item would look expensive to me ... Rest assured, you will not be bidding against me for them.
