Spanish 1851 Doce Reales?

I cant find my spanish 1851 Doce reales anywhere?
I need knowlegde and experties on this one please.

I tought maybe mine is fake, but why dosent it show up anywhere as forgeries or fake? I cant be the only one with this fake one? This stamp has been in a stamp collection on a booka shelf since 1960s, so not a thing bought in my time. Im not vert familier with forgeries and fakes so I cant say yay or nay to what you are telling me.

The forgery is noted in the Michel Western Europe catalog as well as the Spanish EDIFIL catalog. There are a number of printed forgery references that give more complete descriptions as well. You did search your local library or inter-libray loan for all Spanish stamp references, then? All information is not on the net.

With the lines outside the frame and the cancel type never used by Spain, it is clear this was produced by the Spiro Bros. of Hamburg.
