To elaborate on what perf12 noted, in Scott, this is would be under Central China under the People's Republic liberated areas, Scott# 6L22.
EDIT/CORRECTION: as per the posts below, this is still one of those stamps still unlisted by Scott. The value of $1 on $70 should have been obvious; sorry about that. Perhaps someone with a Yang catalog can add the number from that catalog also.

Hi Perf12, can you tell the year of emission, and the Michel# of this stamp? I cannot find it in my Michel catalogue, even using your information. Or maybe the stamp is not mentioned in Michel?

Hi NicolasC, indeed the same stamp! I paste from that thread: "Central and South China Jiangxi 1949 CC148 (presume CC=Central china) Note: Top Left letter looks differing? Thanks to Stanley Gibbons specialised. Note : Gibbons Type 82 = Scott Type 62 Appears unlisted Scott." I guess I will not find the stamp in Michel too!

hy-brasil, I'm not seeing Scott #6L22 being this stamp. My 2012 catalogue has 6L22 as design A82 $1 on $250. I think my copy of this stamp is still in a glassine because there was no spot for it on my China specialty pages. |

I'd love to create a page for this series. Are all 10 stamps the same design? |

Nicholas, you need to match the Gibbons numbers (Bolded Typeface in the scan) with the designs afforded by Gibbons.
Nonetheless, I'd suggest all stamps would measure similarly in size. |

Thanks Rod, I guess I'm wondering if I should try to further understand why your SG list shows 5 stamps, but perf12 indicated there are 10. Perhaps there is another catalogue out there that lists these? I certainly can go with 5 for now and then expand page in future. I only have the one stamp and no plans to add any more to my collection. |

I tried to upload an album page to show how the set looks like, but unfortunately, this forum doesn't accept any better scans which exceed the size of a small single stamp. |

Quote: this forum doesn't accept any better scans which exceed the size of a small single stamp. Not true, people post multiple scans of entire pages on a regular basis; open most any thread and you'll see them. There's a tutorial here about optimizing picture size/resolution, might be worth a look: https://www.stampcommunity.org/image-optimizer/ |
