To me, ""Stamp" means anything a guy at the post office with an inked hunk of wood or metal in his hand smacking it down on an envelope..

"Stamp" reminds me of this thing we did when we were kids in the 1960s:

Kid 1 to Kid 2: Did you get my letter?
Kid 2: No, I didn't
Kid 1: That's because (Stomps on Kid 2s foot) I DIDN'tT STAMP IT!!!!

Trust me. It was all the rage back in the day.
