Is This Stamp Turkey In Asia?

A look through the catalogue didn't turn anything up... I thought they might have been one of the Naval League labels, as I found this one filed as "Turkey in Asia Scott 62", but that didn't check out, either. Any leads? Thanks!

Rod, thanks for the super helpful info. I need to get out of the habit of just Googling and Scott-ing... I just checked my Y&T and it's there under "Timbres de bienfaisance" number 13, 1k brown, perf 13, 1923, along with a note that these were used to benefit the Red Crescent, and their use was mandatory on religious and national holidays (!)

Rod, I picked up the 1840-1940 Classiques du Monde recently and while I'm still clearly not in the habit of checking beyond Scott as much as I should be, I do find myself using it more and more. Would like to pick up a Stanley Gibbons classic catalog to round out the trio someday.

I find myself using Scott only for USA. Maury is my France go-to, SG for British Commonwealth, Michel for Germany, ANK for Austria, POFIS for Czechoslovakia. I figure, once I get into a country, it's worth the bucks to get "native" catalog (only replace them every decade or so, that way the expense in minimal).

ISFILA lists them in their Turkey catalogs. I highly recommend if you're going to dig deeper into the country...

I think that is fine, I do similar.
I like Scott because I prefer searchable catalogues.
I buy ripped Scott (countries of choice) from Chirok, and have colleagues OCR them for me.

As others here say, I get native catalogues, when I feel they are
in my budget, in most cases older cheap catalogues suffice,
My Gibbons specialised 1990 is fine ( values do not concern me)

Agreed. How often does the numbering change? That'd be my only concern.

Hard to say, Gibbons have gone through some changes, it doesn't affect me a great deal, I convert any unlisted in Scott (In Gibbons) to my own Scott variety, (add alpha suffix)
Add SG in parentheses (In my digital record) and add an SG number in the Album page.

Does not occur that often to raise anxiety.
