Iv been looking through the search feature at the different topics related to these wonderful stamps I have acquired recently. There is some debate as the validity. I of course prescribe to the workmanship in them. According to some sources the 'hook on the L' is a tell tale! Your advice would be greatly appreciated. and I hope my scans have got better with time.

not an expert but overprints look very sketchy, likely forgeries?

Take a look from Lot 800 onwards for genuine overprints:

No reason they can't be genuine. Russian and Russian-orbit stamps from WWI and the immediate post-war era aren't exactly exemplars of the stamp engravers (or printers) art, if you get my meaning. And it's not as if any from this 1919 series are so insanely valuable or rare that they'd be worth forging, IMO.

Lostandfound -Thanks for your scans ,sorry I can't help you because your scans are too small and lack details .But I see a few experts have already made comments or opinions .

As just a worldwide collector ,I have studied and made my pages of this subject .
