Postal Card Packs - Storage And Display?

For those who collect the US postal card packs in folders and booklets. How are the ways you store and display? I know it is recommended to not keep in the original shrink wrap, as it could distort and bend the cards.
Do you break the cards apart to display on pages, or do you keep intact and store in a container of some kind.
