Hi all, I'm Jerry. I'm a recently retired collector who started in his teens. I collect the orphans of philately - precancels, perfins, stationery, etc. - as avidly as the regular postal issues.
My original handle was idle for so long that I can't resurrect it. But I have benefitted from the knowledge on here many times, and hope that now that I have more free time, I may be able to contribute.

 Jerry, Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ |

Hello and WELCOME, I'm sure that you probably have a lot to contribute and that's great, by the way this is a great forum so enjoy it, I read a lot of the posts and there are some really nice people here which it makes the forum a wonderful place to learn and share our knowledge.

Hi all & thanks. It's been fun going through the past 30 years of accumulations and dovetailing it into my collection. After a month or so I've cataloged up to Colombia!
Don, I'm content with this handle, but I really appreciate the offer.
And do you need a separate handle/pw for the coin forum? Thanks, Jerry |

If you've made it to Columbia, you're doing great! I was away from stamp collecting for ~20 years because of travel, i.e., since before the internet, it took me 4 weeks just to integrate Germany ... |
