The partial-strike cancel on this German stamp reads "...R-BUCHHOLZ".
There are/were MANY places in Germany with the name Buchholz. The way this place-name is constructed might mean that this Buchholz was a section of a larger community whose name ended in R. But I haven't been able to find any such. Because this stamp was canceled in 1941 it's possible that this Buchholz was one of those in Austria or in former German places that are now in Poland.
Can anyone help me to solve this puzzler? My thanks in advance for any help.
