Here's a cover I've not come across before it was mailed in Stroud Ont on Dec 29, 1993.
There seems to be a lot going on with bar codes on the front and back, the boxes that you had to fill out for the postal code. Looks more like a lottery ticket.
Even the cancel is promoting the use of postal codes.
There's also "E36" stamped vertically above the postal code, perhaps "E" stands for error as a guess.
I've looked at a lot of covers and don't recall seeing one.
I'm surprised I don't remember them.
Was this only a short period thing or test of some sort?

Hounddog Bill,

These were the envelopes necessary to use the "Greet More" rate stamps.

A special "Greet More" rate and stamp of 5¢ less than the prevailing 0-30 g domestic rate was available for the Christmas season in each of 1986 to 1995, valid only in Canada, ending on the next January 31. Use of the stamps had several conditions.

Hope that helps.
Peter
