United Nations 2024 World Heritage Sites - Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes Seongsan Ilchulbone, also called Sunrise Peak, is a 182 meters high tuff cone located on eastern Jeju Island, South Korea. The steep sided cone was formed 6700 years ago by explosive hydrovolcanic eruption upon a shallow seabed.  |

Indonesia 2023 Tourism - Sawu Island Kelabba Madja is located on the southern coast of Sawu Island in the Savu Sea Basin, a part of a non-volcanic arc on the southern edge of the Eurasian Plate. Jurassic and Cretaceous sedimentary rock formations in the area feature spectacular erosion landform of canyons and gullies with colorful cliff walls, while columns and pyramids are capped by hard rocks.  |

CHILE 1979 When this stamp was issued commemorating 50 years of the city of Coyhaique, they wanted to show an image of Cerro Castillo, a mount wich is located near the city   But the designer the stamp mistakenly used an image of Mount Lavaredo (in Italy). How many guys reviewed this work before printed and none of them noticed ? This is the real Cerro Castillo :  |

Jordan 2022 Tourism in the Dead Sea The Dead Sea (elevation 429 m below sea level) lies in the Jordan Rift Valley, a geologic feature formed by the left lateral-moving transform fault lies along the boundary between the African Plate and the Arabian Plate. The hypersaline lake features salt formations with various forms, including salt mushrooms which stand on their halite or rock salt stems in shallow pools near the shoreline.  |

Morocco 2025 Rock of Tamga Cathédrale des Rochers is a prominent peak in the Tamga Nature Reserve in the High Atlas Mountains. The massive limestone outcrop, at 1870 m above sea level with up to 400 m of vertical relief, is surrounded by conglomerate and sandstone formed in shallow oceans. Uplift and erosion of the area began around 80 million years ago as a result of the collision between the African and Eurasian tectonic plates.  |

Australia 2025 Ancient Lands Mutawintji National Park features gorges and rugged rock outcrops of the Byngnano Range. The stamp shows a view of Mutawintji Gorge, part of a large braided river system cutting through Devonian sandstone formations deposited at the eastern edge of the Gondwana supercontinent.  |

New Zealand 2025 Scenic Definitive Issue Banks Peninsula is located on the east coast of the South Island. It comprises the eroded remnants of two large composite shield volcanoes formed due to intraplate volcanism between ca. 11 and 8 million years ago. The entire peninsula exhibits submergent coastline due to sea level rise and sinking of the land.  |

Ross Dependency 2012 Definitive Issue Beardmore Glacier in central Antarctica descends from the South Polar Plateau to Ross Ice Shelf, with ca. 2700 meters of vertical drop. This 200 km long, 40 km wide valley glacier moves at an average speed of ca. 400 meters per year.  |

The linear subsea plateau, known as the Lord Howe Rise, is the result of the Indo-Australian tectonic plate moving northward over a stationary hotspot.
