(Still trying to pin down exactly which Williams this pilot exactly is) I cannot find any information on early aviation in Douglas Arizona.
All I have found is this:"Douglas Municipal Airport was the first commercial aviation airport in Arizona with the first in-coming flight to Douglas in 1911".

Back reads in part: "this is a photo of a young man living just a little way from me... This shows him out of town a little ways in the dessert".

I think this was at the Los Angeles International Air Meet

Neat, thanks for posting. Seems to be an air museum in the area, they might know if you called or emailed them about your early flight info.. https://www.skytamer.com/6.1/AZ/Douglas.html

Thank you for the suggestion. Could not find any contact info for the Douglas ones. I did find this site and sent an email asking if they could help, or direct me to someone who could. They seemed to have some interest in historical context.
