I've got a bunch of these and thought I'd show a few. I do wonder why so many private posts exist for Morocco, are there similar private posts for other French Colony countries?
Stamps of Ethiopia before it joined the UPU are effectively a private post running from Entotto/Addis Abeba to Djibouti, where Somali Coast stamps covered the mail's journey onward.
Regarding the Saffi-Marrakech stamps, has it been sorted out whether the stamps where the ship lacks a banner are forgeries or varieties?
Nice collection! With the 2021 edition, Scott started listing Morocco local posts, so will be interesting to see if that has any impact on price/popularity of them in North America in the next few years.
Thumbing through Maury, reviewing Guiana stamps, I found some stamps for Amazonie, which were for a local post for a mining and railroad company. They were issued in 1895.

That's good to know, they are very interesting stamps and I saw strong demand on ebay for them.
