Recently came across this cover and I am hoping someone can identify the use/purpose of the small diamond shaped "A.O." labels on the cover (red arrows pointing to labels)

A.O. stands for
Autre Objets (Other Articles), generally used to indicate Fr. 3rd Class mail like printed matters.
