Could be the Great Britain issue from 1862, Sc 37 / SG 77.

Here is a better look at this three pence stamp. Not mine of course but it has a happy little dog at the top. I believe it's Stanley Gibbons 75 to 77 from 1862-64, as noted above. Exact shade and watermark give it away. Hold it up to the light to see a watermark. Catalogue value for any old GB stamp is much higher than the real world value.
