In 1970s and '80s, living in London and attending auctions, I built quite decent collections of a number of countries but particularly the British Empire in Asia.
Since about 1990 I haven't touched the collection. Now I live in the Netherlands and I'm getting interested in the hobby again.

Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. Because of extensive business travel I had to ignore my worldwide collection from 2000 until after I retired in 2015. Youn will find that a lot has changed - catalogs are in color, prices have approx. tripled for anything except common, magnificaton can be digital, and everything is now available on the internet - auctions, forums, identification tools, completed collections for reference, etc. |
