. But my main interest is filling spaces in Scott Internationals. I realized the "Value" here is in just filling the spaces. So I am counting the spaces and stamps in each country. I also track the pages and percent completed. Im through Ireland and I'm at a bit over 21000 spaces and 6500 stamps.

I am collecting stamps since +/- 1982 (40 years now).
Coming from a village, it was very difficult to get some new stamps, now with internet is so easy.
I am not a huge fan to buy some expensive stamps, I prefer to get a kiloware of stamps and have a surprise.
Same for trading, I love to send an envelope at the end of the world, with 100 stamps, and received the same, such a great surprise when I get and open it.
After, when I see 100 000 different stamps, I feel that it's a huge amount.
