Too bad they're U.N. and not U.S., because I would definitely use that 58 cent stamp for postage on certain types of mail.

How long until some postal authority issues a stamp featuring the poop emoji?

Some ideas:

Occupy bathroom day.
Be sure to flush day.
Men's CLOSE THAT LID day.
Year of the plentiful toilet paper.
Scottish inventor Alexander Cumming (granted the first patent for a flush toilet in 1775)
Thomas Crapper and Co. (Sanitary Engineers) 19th Century

Well, you did ask...

John

It just begs for jokes. Consider the humble toilet, always ready, an oasis for comfort, and yet, never getting it's due. Never getting the honors it deserves. Maybe a medal.

Seriously though, I was just reading Linn's, and I see this info about the World Toilet Day UN stamps. I had never heard of World Toilet Day. Now I have. It's funny, until you find yourself without one, and then maybe not so much.

This is one of the nice things about collecting in general even if it sounds cliché: You learn about things that you may ordinarily never would. Not only about the mechanics of collecting, but the opportunity to think "World Toilet Day, what's that?"

I found out it's actually a real global public health issue: https://www.worldtoiletday.info/

Still, it seems like whenever we see a toilet, it is an endless source of mirth! Such is the way in the land of men.

I tried to "potty train" many adults in certain parts of the World to no avail. Old habits die hard.
