My fiance wants some help figuring out what do to with her grandfather's stamp collection. He faught in WWII (armored division judging by pics), traveled and ran multiple businesses.

He has loose stamps but also this collection book of stamps stuck to pages. They're organized and from all over the world. I've just started doing some research into stamp collecting myself and these are very interesting pieces of history, but most are not worth thousands of dollars.

I'm guessing I should upload pics of the collection in another section to see what the stamp collecting veterans think

Gabkicks,

What a wonderful legacy to leave to current and future generations of his family. Please keep them all together with photos and notations about who he was and what he did. The true value of what you are now the steward of is in his story. Pass it on intothe future.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
