I think Rod is probably correct.
The cancellation does not have the double circle form of post office cancellations of the period (1889-1900). |

Ojakylä must be fairly small place. I have never heard of it. In Finnish, kylä means village. It is basically rural equivalent of suburb. Usually a small (but sometimes fairly large) concentration of population separated from others by areas of low population. Typically villages or suburbs have little to no administrative autonomy. |

it's a line cancel, many places in Finland and scandinavia in general have those, typically used on trains/boats or as reserve in case of repairs.
and as with all cancels, some aren't worth a damn while some might be worth 1000's.
you'd need to get a hold of specialized finish catalogue. |

Kuikka's statement "Typically villages or suburbs have little or no administrative autonomy" rings true here. Ojakyla must have been an unincorporated area on a train or mail route.
My Finnish straight line cancels are later than this one. So, it might be desirable to a collector of these.
