Yarmouth, Nova Scotia 8/7/51

Yarmouth is a town in southwestern Nova Scotia, Canada. A port town, industries include fishing, and tourism.

"beginners luck on Monday. I brought to dock a 583 pound Blue Fin tuna and Redden a 553 pounder...."

Nice tie-in with the postcard picture and message.

The effective rate was unchanged but the 2 cents War Tax became incorporated into the air mail postage rate.

Nice luck indeed! Also enjoyed the link to the C9 background. Didn't know it was part of the Peace series. Beautiful engravings on that issue!
